By using Passal, you agree to these terms. Passal is an educational study tool for students. You must be at least 16 years old to use it.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. Upload only material you have the right to use for your own study. You give Passal permission to store and process your uploads as needed to provide the service to you.
Study aid, not advice
Passal quotes your lecture material into cards and quizzes. Generated questions or extracted text can contain mistakes or focus on the wrong detail, even when a quote is exact. Check the cited source and use your course materials and instructors as the authority. Passal does not provide medical advice, legal advice, professional advice, or a substitute for any of them.
No patient information
Use Passal for course materials. Do not upload patient records, clinical notes, or anything that identifies a patient. Passal is not designed or offered for protected health information.
Acceptable use
Do not use Passal to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, upload material you are not allowed to use, attempt to access another account, or disrupt the service.
Availability
Passal is provided as is. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Keep your own copies of important materials.
Price, trial and cancellation
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial when the account is created. No credit card is needed for the trial.
After the trial, Passal costs $8 per month in US dollars, billed monthly, plus any sales tax that applies.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and you keep full access until then. If a renewal payment fails, you keep access for 7 days while you update your payment details.
If you are unhappy with a charge, email us within 14 days of it and we will refund that charge in full.
Cancelling, or letting your trial or subscription end, never deletes your study materials. You can still export your study records or delete your account from Settings.
Ending use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access when an account violates these terms or creates a risk to the service or other users.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update the date on this page. Your continued use of Passal after an update means you accept the updated terms.
